Financial Aid help. I need to do my taxes to get financial aid right? I live in new york and I really need help. I am told to do my taxes for 2006 in order to get financial aid. I worked in philadelphia and seattle during those times and I can not figure out if filing my taxes for those jobs will make me eligible to recieve financial aid.

I have a very unusual,and terrible financial mess and need help. Can anyone advise me? I need someone who knows what they are talking about to give me some financial advice. I am a senior citizen and everything has went to hell in a handbasket. I am not very well and the stress is more than I can handle. I cannot do this anymore. I need some help deciding on a financial issue? Well i will be attending Wyotech and the tution cost is 27,500 for me. They told me to fill out financial aid forms and all that. But recently i got a letter from a bank saying they will loan me up to 40 grand for anything college related. Now if i go with the financial aide i will have 2 loans to pay off. But if i go with the bank offer i will only have one big loan. But if i go with the bank they said i wont get any grants. We're all students that's going to pay back the same type of loans as students with (housing) Living Expenses covered. I've been out of school since May 07. I can get all the grants and government loans for titution but can't find Living Expenses grants/loans because of my credit. On my second job I drive a 8 passanger van for a limo company. While on the job the dispatcher sent me to the airport to pickup two different passangers. When the passangers call dispatch then they let them know that i'm in the vacinity and where to meet me. The dispatcher said that one of my passangers was in a wheelchair and she had talked to the airport porter. My first passanger was a lady and she waved at me to let me know. I pulled over close to her and took her luggage, my second passanger I called out his name several times and finally I spotted him with the porter. When I approached him the porter left and I wheeled the man close to the van. could not leave the man on the street and I could not leave my vechicle, so I tried to lift the man. Finally I got him in the van and delivered my first passanger and my second passanger I asked him if theres somebody going to be waiting for him. He said he was visiting his 80 year old parents. I had to help this man all by myself off the van and into his house. I called Dispatch and told them I was in pain and was going home. they said I had to go back to the airport for other passangers. I had no insurance to get help so finally I went to the hospital a couple of days later. I told the owner and he sent me to get medical attention. The clinic sent me to therapy. The owner has no workmans comp insurance. Finally after 6 weeks and therapy and still in pain the doctor took MRI's . I have 3 hernirated and bulging disc from my neck down plus tears. No money to pay my rent,utilities, car payment,etc. everything now 2 months behind. Had to get a lawyer. All this takes years probably. What do i do in the mean time?

need financial help soon after bad domestic violence case mom and 4 children on street, no money. where is it? i put emergency P.F.A. on him, he beat me to judge, although later his were dropped against us,me and 4 kids ended up on street w/out home, job, belongings. the abuse continues, the justice system is doing nothing to help us and we need financial help soon. i haven't been called for a job yet, though apps are in. i can now tell ya why women and children disappear daily. alcohol/drug abusers are horrifying and when they manipulate a justice system it gets worse. bradford cty justice has allowed him to stay out of jail, put us on street, get unsupervised visits even w/ 3 yr P.F.A. against him, not get our belongings, not charge him child abuse even w/ pictures and proof of cut up child, and proof of his drug abuse. we just need help till i get a job, i have done ok getting them all basic living needs, we had nothing, but that doesn't bring cash flow, and i was beat good w/ 2 hurt children.there must be something somewhere because there is nothing but more abuse in bradford cty, PA

Help! I need financial advice!!? OK... I know this is gonna make me sound horribly irresponisble and I guess I am or at least I was when I was in college. I opened up a checking account with a bank that offered Overdraft Protection. If you bounce a check - they cover it - you pay the bank the money. But, the evil bank manager refused to use my overdraft protection on a few bounced checks and I got stuck with several bounced check fees, etc. I got angry and stormed out of the bank and never paid them what I "owed" them because in my eyes I was screwed over by them. Needless to say, I was not considering the financial difficulties that would come later. Apparently, they've reported this to something other than my credit report - I've checked with all major credit bureaus but there is nothing listed. I can find no way to pay back my debts. I cannot open any new checking accounts with any other banks because of this. How can I make this go away - I need to be able to get a new bank account. Please Help!

MY family and I need financial help. we have worked all of our lives and we are about to lose everything. help My family and I despertaley need financial help. I am the main income earner. ( we have a 12 year old son) We thought like most americians that we were prepared. WE WERE WRONG. We had enough money in the bank for several months, home equity line of credit, life insurance, medical insurance and CC and a CD. I was injured last December 16th I have been unable to work and the doctors are not sure when I can go back. We have used up all savings. I received short term disablity. I have applied for disablity with the government. I tried to work from home doing collections and found out it was a scam we lost about $45 thousand on that. We have managed until this month. Now we can not pay our bills and I was told by social services that we fell threw the cracks. because: we were not illegal ailens, we had not just received our green cards, we had cars worth over 9600.00 usd.; & I had been a productive member of society prior to the accident. Now we are going to lose everything. PLEASE HELP!!!! we are trying to sell cars, MY husband is retired and has had 6 surgeries in 4 years and unable to work. MY 12 year old is not allowed to work by law. I have applied for jobs but I can not set up straight nor can I stand for long periods even with the cane. I tried to work from home doing collections to bring in money. BUT IT WAS A fraud. I would gladly go back to work if I could. I can not treat people or anything else while i am on the medicine. thank you for the suggestions. This home has been in the family for 60 years. If they make us leave our home and we have no place to go they will take my son and place him in a foster home. HERE IN NJ BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO THOSE CHILDREN. It has not been easy to ask for help but I have to put pride aside and think about my family. I have called a credit counceling service THEY ADVISED TO DECLARE BANKRUPTCY. I contact an attorney for help and they want money ( legal aid does not help in this situation) I call social service everyday still no results. Like I menitioned before I am desperate. AND yes middle class americians fall through the cracks. thank you for the advise I have tried everything before I put this on yahoo. WE just need enough to get by for a couple of months. our mortgage is $1159.oo, home equity is !$1032.00, house hold bills come to about $2600.00 and miniums on CC comes to well over $5000.00 because we have been buying food and paying house hold bills and even home equity loan. I am in deperate need of financial help...NO SCAMS OR EMPTY PROMISES PLEASE....where can I look? i need help with my current financial situation please...? Hello everyone, I hope all is well and everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving with their friends and families. I am running out of options in terms of trying to get an unsecured loan for $50,000 to cover all of my unsecured debt. I am seriously debating whether or not I should join a dmp. I have a good credit score (between 700 and 720 from the 3), I have never been late on anything in my life, and I have a 76,000 annual income. My problem is I had a recent tragedy in my home, it caught on fire and my insurance didnt cover the interier. I had just purchased the home and 2 days after closing the fire occured. I have now managed to get right around $45,000 in debt from credit cards and personal loans. I am afriad to join a DMP because I care a lot about my fico score. Also, what happens to the credit cards that I have? Do they cancel them so I cannot use them? I wouldnt want that to happen, I would at least like to keep one of my cards with a $0 balance open in case of emergencies. I have currently been paying approx $2,000 a month towards credit cards/loan and I have a mortgage of $1920 a month which my roomates contribute to $1000 of that monthly. Can anyone please give me any positive/negative insight in terms of joining a DMP and if fingers point the right way can you please recommend a well known DMP? I failed a class two times in a row and i did not complete the minimum number credit hours for my freshmen year(24) and now I'm told i did not meet satisfactory Academic Approval 3 weeks before school starts and money is due.
