Does anybody know about getting financial help for cancer meds? My mom has breast cancer that has come back in her bones. She has no insurance. She doesn't qualify for help from the state. Her medication is $4000.00 per month. Does anybody know where we can get financial help? I hate to say that it is a matter of life and death but, it is. Thanks so much for your help!!

How do I get financial help for Uncle with Lung Cancer? My uncle just found out he has lung cancer. His job has let him go and they are taking his insurance from him. Worse yet, he will have made too much money this last year to get medicare. Disability will take way to long to get. Soon he will need help with treatment and medication costs. I just was hoping someone might have some suggestions of organizations that might be able to help us. I and my family would appreciate any help anyone can give.

I was rushed for a hystorectomy in sept 06 and did not need chemo or other treatment but it is time for my 6 mth pap smear and i still owe my GYN for surgery in 06....i work but make very little..im scared to not get screened.....but i dont have the financial means..isnt there some type of help for those with histories of cancer?

Is there a program that helps cancer patients with financial hardships, especially house and car payments? i was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. I have not worked in months, therefor i fell behind in my car payments; have no home to call my own; and is really financially in a bind. My husband is no help to me. He walked out over a year ago. I've really tried to stay afloat. It is really hard. I just recently was told there are more masses, therefor putting me in the IV stage, which is the last. I just received approval for ssi and medicaid. But I am so far behind on finances, i don't know what to do or where to turn. I appreciate the help I've received, SSI approval but it is a shame that it had to come so late (waiting bump my condition from stage III to IV. Please someone help me out of this hole. Direct me to the nearest organization for assistance for cancer patients and their financial hardships.
Any one know if there is financial assistance for Ovarian Cancer? My mother has been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer Stage 3B and is need of financial assistance paying her medical bills. Anyone know what she should do besides divorce my father after 32 years of marriage. She is already getting assistance through Harris County with the Gold Card. Where to get Financial aide for cancer patients in the U.K? A good friend of mine is hospitalized with Lung Cancer in the UK. His family is having a hard time funding the operation. Apparently the docs there will not operate without money first. If you have any information on places that provide financial aide for such a thing please let me know. do you believe there is a cure for cancer that our governments are hiding for financial reasons? Is it possable that the revenue made from medication and treatment is far greater than the need to cure. An american drug has just been denied in Canada because it is to expensive. Our health care is universal and for all intents and purposes free. I dont beleive becoming a vegan will cure cancer. Soy is a proven cancer preventative but the down side is if you already have cancer it will speed up the spread. My sister has stage 3 breast cancer (inoperable) she is 40 yrs old.
How do I get financial help To Move and Get My Life Together? I moved to Lancaster SC right out of high school, my mother had gotten on drugs when I was 13 years old. We lost everything and was put out of our place of 17 years when I turn age 17. I was excepted into college, but didn't attend. I moved to SC after my grandfather had passed away, to help my mother I got a job and sent for her. She lived 10 good years and free of drugs. Liver Cancer Charities/Financial Aid? Hey guys, I really need your help. A very very close friend of mine has a dad who is dying from liver cancer, he was diagnosed in 2005. His insurance dropped him about a year ago and he's been perfectly fine until about 3 days ago when he just started to snowball. A new insurance plan is in affect beginning March 2009... but that might be too late. He only has his Dad, his mother being a neglective psycho-nut, he's got everything going in his life; baseball star being drafted by professional teams while he's still a junior in highschool, great GPA, and an overall amazing kid. The only thing is that his family does not have the money since the insurance company pulled out. His Dad is everything to him, taught him how to play ball in the first place. I need real solid financial or charity groups that we can contact, ones that aren't a scam and actually make the effort to help. If you have any information or contacts, please let me know. breast cancer - help! - please read!? My wife is a 2 time breast cancer survivor at only 41 yrs of age. She recently had a mastectomy and is cancer fee now!! She is in the process of reconstruction. All of this is wonderful! Since she was diagnosed the first time...we have gave money to all sorts of breast cancer fund raising things. Now....during this second bout.......she lost alot of work time during her surgeries and so forth..........does anyone know of anyplace we could get some financial assistance? The bills are now piling up and I am here to tell you...that just adds insult to injury. We do have insurance and they covered alot of it....but certainly not all of it. If anyone could point us in the right direction for some type of help I would sure appreciate it. She has been through enough.
