Do u think that my boyfriend is taking advantage of my financial status? Please help me on this one.. Thanks?

I've been with this guy for a year. I earned more than him but he's family is more well off than my family. I have obligations with my family and his family does'nt oblige him with anything regards to money. When it comes to his own needs like gadgets and others stuffs he is very much willing to spend. But everytime where going out he always telling that he doesnt have money, So I always end up paying for everything. Also he never gave me anything even on my birthday, anniv and christmas.

1. Definetely doesnt sound good. My bf never lets me pay for anything. I mean, its not the point of the money, i just think that it puts him more in a masculine position because he is kind of "providing" for you or something... He doesnt sound like a good prospect, my advice is to look elsewhere..
2. He is so selfish. Stop paying for things. Teach him a lesson. Dont let him clean out your bank account.
3. this guy seems like its all about him...its okay to switch up paying for an "outing" every once in awhile but if he can't even be considerate enough to buy you something or take you out on your birthday, then you and him need to have a talk and if he cant see where your coming from then you may need to let him go
4. Next time you are going out with him, tell him that you don't have any money to pay. If he steps up and says he'll pay without complaining about it, then perhaps he's just spoiled and expects others to pay his bills. Or, you could talk to him and tell him exactly how you feel. Being upfront with your feelings is much better than wondering.

6. RUN!!!!!!!!!!! Girl i've been there! No matter how much you want him to change its not gonna happen. Hes showing you his true colors now. Once you let them use you they will keep doing it. If you keep him around and let him do it you deserve what you get. RUN!!!!!!!!!
7. You are being used. Wake up and smell the coffee. He is sponging off you and will leave you if you stop paying for him. Are you so desperate that you have to buy a BF? Get rid of this loser.
8. I am not materialistic, but not ever paying and never getting you a b-day gift, or Christmas gift is real disrespectful and inconsiderate. It's not about the money it's the gesture and the thought. Apparently he's is thoughtless. I would tell him he needs to start pulling his weight on dates once in awhile...or the next time you guys go out tell him, "Lets split the bill this time."

Even as a gentleman they will pay for gals if they dine out....dun say bf ...bf should pay for eveything for the gf...but sometimes gals have to be initiative to pay but most of the times the guys should pay if i have a bf n he doesnt pay for anything or buy me anything on birthday or wat i wouldnt want him i would have dump him straight
