Financial help for training/spaying of a therapeutic dog?
My friend just got a beautiful lab puppy Sophie for her beautiful autistic daughter. Just wondering if she can get so aid with training and spaying. I am a vet tech and know of no programs myself so I was hoping others might know. Please do not answer she should be able to afford the dog because she is capable. But as a single mother of two one of which has special needs a little help goes a long way. So if anyone has any ideas in the Cape Cod,Ma region. Let me know. Merry Christmas and Happiest of Holidays

- the humane society here has a SNIP program, in which they spay/neuter for $30 on certain days of the month. Call your local humane society
- your local animal shelter should have vouchers for a reduce to free spay and neuter. thanks for being responsible pet owner and getting her spayed! as for training, i would find a friend who's dog is well trained and learn from them. there is also a lot of help on the Internet that you can search on how to train a certain trick. Labs are very smart and have lots of energy, so make sure to give the pup lots of walks and runs to get there energy out. good luck!
