Can I get 6 month USA visa if I apply for 1-2 weeks to stay at hotel on holidays?
I'm studying in the UK from non-EU country. I want to apply USA visa for 1-2 weeks to stay at hotel on holidays, but I want to stay up to 4-6 months at my relatives who can not give me financial proof to support me during my stay in America. Can I get 6 month visa in that case? How much bank statement should I show them? Please give more details if you know something about this. Thanks

- you, unfortunately, cannot ask how long your visa would be. all you can do is just present your documents and tell the consul what you plan to do. it is up to the consul how long of a visa he'll give you.
