Who can i go to for emergency financial help?
I am a single mother of two receiving ssi and afdc but very little childsupport. This month my son's medical lapsed and he was without insurance. My son broke his arm and i had to pay $650.00 in medical bills for next month n that is more then half my income and now i can't pay my rent does anybody know of any organizations who can help? Thanks

- well why did you first see if their was assisant for the medical bills, alot of place does offer assisent for this. i would have paid my rent before I paid medical bills, if you get ssi then why don't he get the medical card, and if he does how did you let that laps, that is very important? SRY not trying to be rude... just their isn't much you can do ... Go to your local church they may be able to help!
- Go to modestneeds.org. They've helped me a few times with groceries and bills when my husband was injured. They are so awesome!
- sorry no! but don't go to moneylenders. the hard way is sometimes the easiest way.
- citifinanciere, can certainly help you if you are over 18 and they help even if your credit is not too good
- the local churches are good, also try the dept of welfare, they have emergency aid. Did u try the hospital where your son got treated, they also have emergency aid.
