- You are on the wrong website. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov It's free there. That dude who runs the .com website should be forced by the federal government to remove it!!
- That's weird. All I had to do was talk to my financial aid counseler in college and that was that. No Fee.
- there is no fee to apply to FAFSA
- That isn't the right website you are going to to apply for the FaFsa there is no fee ever!!!! the correct website is www.fafsa.ed.gov and its always free
- Yea there shoudln't be a fee. You can either turn in FAFSA by mail by going to your counselor and getting the package, or you can go online. I would suggest you do it online because it is faster. www.fafsa.ed.gov/
- If you are applying for Federal financial aid, you need to go to www.fafsa.ed.gov not www.fafsa.com. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is processed without any fees. You fill it out and submit it. However, there are folks out there that will complete the FAFSA for you with a fee attached and guarantee you all kinds of free money. It's a scam... always has been and always will be.
- The FAFSA application is free, but i think there are companies out there that charge because they do the application for you. Kind of like a tax accountant who does your taxes they charge a fee for a form which is free as well to fill out. I would call them if you didn't mean to use their website and see if you can get a refund, or maybe see what they are doing for you since they charged you...for example maybe they help with getting you financial aid as part of their services. Good Luck, and let us know how it goes (whether companies like fafsa.com who have a fee are a legit company or a scam)
