I am moving from MN to CA, how long do I have to wait to apply for financial aid for college?
Also, would I still be elgible for student loans right away if not financial aid? Are there special scholarships or programs I can work for to help get money to pay for college? I am planning to get my masters in psychology. Thanks!

- You should apply for federal financial aid now if you are planning on being enrolled in the Fall 08, Spring 09 or Summer 09. The application just went on line Jan 1st. And I'd do it as soon after you do your taxes and as early as possible. Yes, you can get Stafford loans to get your masters degree, but not the Pell grant. don't wait... ps, don't forget you'll be paying that out of state tuition. Here is a good resource.
