what is college financial aid based on?
do they consider that parents have a house payment other expenses/ what?? can any one tell me what fasa considers i have twins going off to college at the same time im worried.

- it is based off of everything. It considers almost all the money the student and parents have. it considers a million things. you just have to fill it out and hope for the best. Don't worry about your kids. whatever you can't afford can be gotten in loans. They do plan on getting jobs after graduation right?
- When you apply for federal financial aid, the government looks at the income of you and your parents, the number of people in the household, the number in the household in college (you would have 2 minimum in your family), how expensive the school is, and weather you are attending full or part time. Plus family assets and such. They do not take into account expenses or debt. Good Luck.
