I currently have student loans through sallie mae...?

I have court next month and I am going to be charged with a felony, how would that affect my student loans? What would happen?

Are your loans private, or are they Stafford loans through Sallie Mae? If they are private loans, you should be fine, but if you are getting government backed Stafford loans AND your offense is drug related, you will not be able to get any more government loans.
