College Financial Aid and EFC Score Help?
I have an EFC of about 25,000. I have a 3.6 G.P.A. and scored a 30 on my ACT Test. I am looking to attend small liberal arts schools such as Washington and Jefferson, Wittenberg, John Carroll, or Wooster. They are all about 40,000 dollars a year. What does my financial situaation look like?

- You will not get any need based grant money from the federal government like Pell or FSEOG. You will prob qualify for Unsubsidized Stafford loans and parent PLUS loans. And any scholarships you might apply for and earn. Hopefully a school that expensive will be able to help you... be warned about taking out student loans this early in your college career. Save the loans for your Jr and Sr years and transfer into a school after going somewhere cheaper.
- I went to W&J and I had a 3.6 in high school. I got a president's scholarship which wasn't much but it helped. I definitely suggest going to one of these schools because you will have to work harder but it will help you in the future. My mom got a job at the school so I got tuition reimbursement but remember that school loans are considered good debt.
