Do I have to file a tax return if i have money left over on federal financial aid?
did not work in 2007, no other income, just received federal financial aid. however, after my financial aid paid my tuition, several thousand was left over. i used this amount for living expenses, books, etc. do i need to file a tax return? thanks.

- nope financial aid/scholarships are not a taxable income so you dont have to file a return.
