Financial Aid Application?

So I've applied to at least 6 different schools and they all have different dealines, but I'm not talking about the FASFA...I just don't get it how can the financial aid applications be due before the actual application for that school? What's that about? I really can't explain myself..So here's this link http://collegesearch.collegeboard.com/search/CollegeDetail.jsp?collegeId=4134&profileId=5 right under financial aid it says : Financial Aid * Financial aid deadline: Not reported * Financial aid priority deadline: 15-FEB But i don't get it since the FASFA isn't due yet.. IM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE FASFA!!!!! DO I SUBMIT THE FINANCIAL AID APP EVEN THOUGHT I HAVENT HEARD FROM THE SCHOOL, MEANING THEY HAVENT TOLD ME IF I'VE BEEN ACCEPTED OR NOT.

  1. Just because it isn't due yet, shouldn't mean you should wait. The earlier you can submit the FAFSA the better. Usually, depending on how much you and your parents make, people that apply early will get more money. Hypothetically, if you and another student have the same financial information and you submit your application on January 1 and the other student submit on March 1, you would probably get more money because the government money comes from one central pool.
  2. I could not find the earliest date to send in applications, but more than likely, students have already been accepted to the school and will be receiving their results for other schools. To offer a competitive chance of getting the applicant, schools prefer to send out their financial offerings as soon as possible and this school leads me to believe this is true for them as well, by the statement "FEBRUARY 15 - File by this date for priority consideration to maximize your award". Edit: Go ahead and do it, that way, if you are accepted, you complied with all of their requirements.
