Nelnet Student Loan Forbearance?
Has anyone had to deal with Nelnet in trying to get a forbearance on their student loan? My loans are already consolidated, so that isn't an option, and I don't qualify for a deferment. They reasoning behind not granting a forbearance is that I have already had enough forbearance in the past, but after looking on the internet, I see that they are being investigated for shady collection practices and other people have had trouble receiving forbearances. Just wondered if anyone had luck getting one and how they did it? Thanks! I guess I'm wanting to know if anyone has had success negotiating with Nelnet, and if not what did you do?
