Financial Aid?
If someone could please help me out that would be so great! ok...Im going away to a Fire Academy in June. I got a apartment with my 3 friends and rent for me is about 350 a month. And the Academy about 3 grand. I was wondering if its possible if i could get about 6 grand in financial aid. my mom only makes about 17.50 an hour. Is this possible? I dont know much about financial Aid. Thank you for helping me =)

- i go to school and get financial aid, but they pay as I go, based on the amount of classes I take, I dont know if it works other ways. sorry
- Your mom only makes 17.50 an hour, well I would say that was pretty good. You can get a student loan no matter what your mom makes, but its the grant that is based on income. I receive student loans and I receive 6,000 a year. They split it up 3,000 a semester. I get this much because I am a single mom, but if I lived on my own I would be eligible for 4,000 more a year. So, I would say your chances are good.
