How does financial aid work for Graduate School?
Are scholarships available? If so, how can I get them? How about TA-ing or some other work study programs?

- Each program is different. Often times scholarships, fellowships/assistantships are awarded primarily based on academic merit (GPA and GRE scores), although sometimes they are awarded based on your entire application package. Sometimes universities require that you apply separately for these awards, sometimes there are no separate applications necessary. There may be an earlier deadline for your application if you wish to be considered for these awards. You'll have to check out each program's details, as they all vary. Most have this info on their websites. You should also check out scholarships offered by other organizations and your community. Fastweb.com is pretty good.
