Can child support take my federal financial aid / pell grants?
I just got 1800$ in my school account and the next day it was gone. Child support back pay took all my school money. Is this legal?, This is not my wages, this is my school money.

- Yes. The old joke is you breed em you feed em. But seriously you have got to understand if you don't pay then it comes out of the public purse. In other words you are wanting society to pay for a failed relationship. Regardless of if you think society should do that or not taxpayers by and large don't. Children can and will be a millstone around your neck until they are of age - simple fact of life. Thanks Bill
- Yes. If you owe money and arent paying it, they can take it from you wherever they want.
