college financial aid help?
I had academic probation said if I did poorly wouldnt be able to get any more financial assistance . I did poorly can i just go to a different 2 year college and get the grant

- Since the college haas VERY little to say, they basically only decide if you get what you were approved for and not what you get approved for to begin with, over what you get I'd say no. However talk with an academic advisor and see what they say.
- Probably not, because you are going to have to provide transcripts to the new college, and they are going to put you on academic probation. Until you are off probation, they probably will not allow you to take assistance. Why do you have to tell them about the other school? Because you are dealing with the US gov't and they will probably find out anyways. Take it from someone who's been there, quit being silly and wasting the government's money (or YOUR money if the assistance is loans) Study, dude! Or maybe you need to ask yourself if college is right for you.
