Is there a required GPA to receive federal financial aid?

  1. no
  2. You just need to maintain at least a 2.0 to continue to receive financial aid. This is to ensure that you are going to graduate in a timely manner and as a 2.0 is required to graduate that is where they set the bar.
  3. yes. It depends on what grade level u are.. By the time u get to be a junior (60 hours). u must have a 2.0.. Not sure what freshman and sophomore is.. (any college catalog can tell u).. If it's below what it's supposed to be, u can always appeal to keep getting it... However, keep it at a 2.0 overall and u are fine
  4. As long as you are a matriculating student (or will be as an entering freshmen) there is no requirement on you GPA. However, if you have failed out of school you will loose your eligibility for federal financial aid until you are one again a matriculating student in a degree granting program. Good Luck!!!
