- Get 2 jobs is my advice like i and im sure several other people have had to do at that age. Why should you make us pay for your rent when your able to work and make it on your own. Get a roommate if you have to and hunt for cheap apartments or maybe look in your local newspaper for people renting a room. There are several options rather then going to the government for assistance when it is not needed.
- two choices either get a higher paying job or get a part time job -- sorry not free rides today!!!!
- Government assistance is very hard to get especially for housing unless you are in a large city with lots of government assisted apartments. That would be part of the HUD (Housing Urban Development) Program. If you lived where I do you would be put on a waiting list that is about 2 years long. The best thing for you to do is try to find a roommate or two. You could also look for those room rentals that the other poster spoke of and finally two jobs will get you through financially but it will cost you in sleep. You are young though so that shouldn't be much of a problem for you. My sons are having the same problems. I told them to keep getting better jobs with better pay. They are finally taking my advice........:). My sons are almost 21 and 19. I hope you can either work things out with your mom or get that better job soon.
- There is no financial help for moving out. You've got to do it yourself.
