After serving 4 years in the Air Force, Can veterans apply for financial aid instead of using the GI-Bill?
I was wondering if you are a veteran can you apply for financial aid in terms of (grants) because I know i won't have enough college credits to graduate with a bachelors degree while on active duty because of the job schedule. Anyone who has been in the Air Force, can you tell me how you paid for college without the GI-Bill,????? I don't want to use the Gi-Bill until Medical School. So answer the above question..... Thanks

- Of course you can apply for aide and grants and try to save the bill for Med School...whether they accept that or not is another question! Good luck!
- You need to fill out a http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ this will show how much federal aid you can get (if any). You can also check this site for grants and scholarships http://www.fastweb.com// You can also call the financial aid office they will be able to tell you about special grants/scholarships that you can get thru their school.
