What other alternatives other than financial aid can I look for?
I recently applied for financial aid and was denied. What other types of help are out there? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

- Check out FASFA on line to see if there is a student loan program in the state in which you are going to college. Some states offer low interest student loans paid directly to the college and deferred to 6 mos after graduation. If parents willing to co-sign or put the loan in their name with you signing as the student - you may get an even lower rate. We saved our son 2% by putting the loan in his dad's name. Talk to friends already in college - they know what is out there. Good luck.
