EFC and college financial aid question?

I am heading to Missouri State in the fall, and I just received my fafsa results. I have an EFC of 20. What exactly does that mean, how much money in financial aid will I be expected to pay. MSU has a yearly tuition of about 14,000. An EFC of 20 is good right? What is considered good? And a bad EFC?

  1. Wait, is it just 00020 or is it 20000? The first one means you're going to be getting a lot of financial aid, the second one means you're probably not going to be getting anything.
  2. 20 is a very low EFC which is good. That means the school might give you a grant. In general anything below 4110 is very good.
