1. You have to get some experience. No one would want to give support to anyone without a background of knowing how to handle the support. After several years you could get the leaders of the group you are volenteering with to giveyou help on starting your own group. This is a noble thought but there is a lot of work, hard work, to be done before you are ready.pp
2. I agree with the other poster. You need experience first. Try learning volunteer management, budgeting, grant writing, fundraising, etc. To do this, you can: 1) Check out books at the library 2) Take college courses 3) Go to the leadership office of your school (if there is one) 4) Volunteer at non-profits
3. There are several in existence already. Volunteer with them so you can see what they're doing. Either you'll learn that they know what they're doing and your program would be a duplication of effort (Almost the worst thing any charity can be) or you'll see where you need to focus and problems to avoid.
