I need to find some financial help in order to have back surgery?

OK, a friend of mine who is a missionary, needs to have back surgery. I've already talked with someone at the Laser Spine Institute in Tampa Florida and all they need is the assurance that this surgery will be paid for. I just need to know how and where I can get some financial help with this.

1. One place you could check to see if they know of resources to help with this kind of surgery is the city health dept. Also, get in touch with the church that your friend is doing missionary work for to see if they know of some places. There is one place that a friend of mine used to help with surgery that is called Interfaith Ministries or something like that and they were able to help with the cost and it doesn't matter what the religious affiliation is.
