Can I apply for financial aid for more then one school?How does F.aid work???

Im trying to understand what it is all bout for financial aid???Im confused can you apply for financial aid for more then one shcool and use the money for another school???..can someone please help me to understand how financial aid workds..thank you GOD BLESS KEEP GOD first

1. You first need to fill out a FASFA application online. You can decide which schools that you want to send your application to and those schools will offer you a financial aid offer. You cannot use money from one school to pay for another. The only way I would see this happening is if you registered at one, received financial aid and then dropped all of the classes and pocketed the aid money. Then you could take it and pay at another school. This isn't necessarily ethical and may even be illegal.
2. When you fill out the FAFSA, you will select the schools you'd like your financial aid information sent to. Each school will determine the amount of financial aid they are willing to give you. You can compare packages from your potential schools and which ever school you select, you also select the financial aid package they gave you. Good Luck!
