What is a good student loan organization that helps students take out student loans without having to have a?
co-signer? Please respond as soon as possible because I am trying to search for student loans without a co-signer before i go back to school in the fall of 2007. I tried to do astrive student loans but they need a qualified co-signer and I don't know if a member of my family is willing to do that. So please if u know of any organizations or whatever that helps students with loans without a co-signer please let me know. Thanks a bunch.

- Stafford loans...no co-signer, no job required, no payments due till you are finished with school.
- ANY decent student loan organization should loan direct to you, without a cosigner. Best bet is probably completing the FAFSA, but it might be too late to do that for this fall. Check with the financial aid office at your school about the date for this years FAFSA, or any other possible sources of money as they will be the most complete source of information. There is A LOT out there to borrow, or be given, but you need to do a little investigation and some legwork.
- Complete the FAFSA at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov to apply for government loans. They usually have lower interest rates, lower fees, and better repayment terms than private educational loans. Plus they don't require a cosigner or credit check. Plus, you might be eligible for other aid awarded by the school or the state. And, it's not to late to apply for the fall, but you'll want to do it asap to get everything processed before school starts.
