Are there any private student loans you can get with ok credit???
I have been applying for student loans left and right and my parents finally said they would co-sign for me. However, they have okay credit and I have horrible credit. Are there any private student loans that I can get approved for???

- pretty much every bank will offer a secured loan (say a home equity loan) to your folks. Also, your student financial aid office can probably name a half dozen or more companies that specialize in the very loans you describe. Sallie Mae is a common lender. Additionally, you can probably borrow at least some money on a "guaranteed" loan, though probably not enough. Having a cosigner really helps.
- You can go to www.studentloanchoice.biz or www.estudentloans.biz it's about student loans information. Good luck
- When choosing a students loan provider, check their history online or call them directly to inquire about their options for students. Some banks allow students to make monthly payments or allow up to $40,000 covering additional living expenses beyond the books and tuition. As tempting as it seems, your student find themselves in more debt than you expected once you accept their students loan. Interest rates are inclining every year because of the government and we must take precautions so our credit history is not demolished during our university years.
