1. For general personal financial help, I suggest you read The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. His book details out a plan on the how and whys of debt, savings, insurance, investing and giving money away. He also details how to do a written budget (that you could use at home or in your business). His plan is easy to understand and implement. Some people have a problem with follow through, usually those are the same people that want a "financial fix pill" instead of doing the work. His plan has really helped us. On his website he also has financial counselors that maybe in your area to help you.
