Financial help?
How do i get a quick student loan in days? My school starts next week and i have no idea where to get the money for college. Help please .

- Fill out the FAFSA online. http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ Put the code for your college in the area where it asks where to send the information, and your aid will go through. It's best to do this before March 1st each year. All apps submitted later will still be reviewed, but there's less money available after that point in time.
- I'm assuming that you already applied for financial aid, and whatever you got just isn't enough. If you are going to go the private loan route, I recommend Citiassist found at www.citiassist.com, or Key Loans at www.key.com/educate/alternative or www.salliemae.com. These all have online applications you can fill out, so they are quicker than most. They may require a credit worthy co-signer if you do not meet credit requirements. A thing to note though is that financial aid offices are really busy this time of year with the very stuff you're dealing with. Many people do last minute loans. What you should do first is apply for the loan. Get conditional approval. Contact the school's financial aid office and tell them that you applied for a loan, chances are, it's not going to be able to disburse by the time your bill is due, so ask if they can confirm the loan and have your bill deferred until the loan disburses. Usually they are very helpful in this area. I hope this helps!
