- I don't think the fact that you're pregnant has much bearing on financial help, other than the fact that generally pregnant women are not required to work to be eligible for benefits. I'd focus on the father of the baby for financial support. In the meantime if you're low income, or whomever you are living with is, then you can get food stamps and WIC.
- Contact Social Services in your county and make an appointment. Many young, working women don't make a lot of money and are often eligible for medical assistance and perhaps even WIC. You are not likely eligible for cash assistance.
- in ny they offer pcap! ....google your city/town and pcap to see if and were its offered! .........muchh luck! 19 soon 2 be ....and 10 weeks prego!
- Try contacting your child services of your state. You could also try planned parenthood to find out which numbers to call to connect you. Just give your local one a call. Or even better, if you have a pregnancy crisis center near you, they will have loads of info to help you out and someone to help you fill out the paperwork and get you started. You can apply for WIC for food, diapers, stuff like that and many states have health insurance coverage for children with low income families. For childcare, you get finanical aid to help cover the costs and that is all dependent on how much income you make. Good luck and make some calls. If you live in NJ or PA, I can tell you exactly who to call. And start now, sometimes there is a waiting list to get funding so the quicker you think ahead the better finianical you'll be.
- go to the health department. you can get medicaid and wic if available
- i know here in los angeles almost every clinic offers medi-cal and wic....you should ask your hospital or clinic what they offer
