before I invest $50 in a grant information book I was wondering if anyone had any good grant info...I am a war veteran but do not qualify for GI Bill.. and I am just interested in about $2000 to take some part time classes for my CCNA

  1. Be a better idea to save the $50 and contact the financial aid office at the school.
  2. you don't need to spend $$$. you can also check out the library-for free. Fill out the FAFSA (fafsa.edu.gov or through the financial aid link in the school's website). You need to do that before you can get any aid. it's the first step. from there you can get any aid you are eligible for and is available through the school.
  3. Save your money. The majority of the information in the book you can probably find for free on the net. Check to see if your program of study allows you to apply for aid from the US government. If so, complete the application on line at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Check also to see if you qualify for any scholarships at http://www.finaid.org/.
