student financial aid!?
My daughter has been in college since 2004 and has been gotten some student financial aid, but my son and my wife will be in college this Fall also. My wife will receive almost 80% of her cost, but my son is getting only 25%. I thought with having three in college and increasing number of household (In-law have moved with us) with no income, we would get more help. By the way my income has not changed since2004.

- Why doesn't he try applying for scholarships. You know, if you live in Texas and you graduated recommended or distinguished you get a grant each year for that. Try looking into it in your state. I had a lot of problems when I transferred Universities getting grants so try not to worry. Did your daughter's aid go down? Maybe your son's so low because they are trying to balance the 3 people in your home going to school. I am the only one in my household and this semester, I am getting enough for my tuition and books. Well try talking to a financial aid adviser in the university, they will know more. Good luck!
